Analyzing Statistics and Data boxes cover all the Understanding questions and methods in the context

statistics and mathematical tools found in the AP of actual scientific work provides students with a better
Biology curriculum. They also review important foundation for applying science practices — enter
skills from prior courses such as working with Practicing Science boxes. This feature evaluates key
scientific notation and percentages. Each box walks experiments in the history of biology, while addressing
students through a practice problem and provides the science practice of questions and methods with
a Your Turn problem to try. Further practice is an in-depth look at research questions, experimental

available in the Teacher’s Resource Materials, design, and results. A free-response style AP Practice
including video walkthroughs for students. Question concludes each box by asking students
to evaluate experimental design and methods or a
